In a significant step towards advancing sustainable agricultural development, the National Water Research Center (NWRC), represented by its President Prof. Sherif Mohamady El Sayed, emphasized the importance of continued collaboration with the International Center for Agricultural Research in the Dry Areas (ICARDA).
The discussion highlighted how joint efforts between both institutions are vital to improving water-use efficiency, agricultural productivity, and climate resilience in Egypt and the region.

The consultation workshop, organized by ICARDA, focused on advancing sustainable agricultural water management in Egypt.
Participants included experts, policymakers, and researchers from various national and international organizations who shared experiences on:

• Integrating research-based water management strategies into national policies.
  
• Promoting innovations in irrigation technology.
